Hey everyone! Sorry for not updating the past week. I have been working on getting the blog done for Solomons temporary homeless ministry, which I recently found out is called Faith United. :) Please check out the blog and tell me whatcha think: Kingdom Perspective

We went out to Tampa last night and wow God is really raining down His blessings in that city! The clouds yesterday were dark and very ominous looking so Solomon and I prayed for God to keep the rain away because if it rains no one comes out! And of course there wasn't a drop of rain in Tampa while we were there. It was raining in Sarasota and all around Tampa though... Our Yahweh is so awesome. :) There was about 50 to 70 people there last night too! The word is really getting out! We only had one pan of food last night but of course Yahweh came through again and provided enough for everyone to get first, second and even THIRD servings! Hallelujah that's grace! Yes it was a beautiful night full of laughter, prayer, smiles, hugs and lots of Yahweh's perfect love. :)

I also have been reading this awesome book called Recognizing the Real Enemy by Miguel Demelli. I met Mr. Demelli at a Shabbat home fellowship a few weeks ago and had the privilege to talk with him for quite awhile and listen to a really powerful message (and be blessed by an amazing prophecy!). This book has been a huge blessing and I recommend it to every believer! I do not have a link where you can read about the book and buy it yet. I will get it and post it soon. :)

My Aunt Michelle and Uncle Bill is in Florida visiting from Colorado too! I am hoping we get to spend lots of time with them on the beach, fishing and just hanging out. :)

I have been meaning to post about last Thursday temporary homeless outreach. I am so sorry it took me so long to do it. But let me start out by saying how awesome and wonderful God is! Thursday was amazing!

We usually have food on Thursday nights for about 40-70 people. Well last Thursday there was about 100-150 people! The word is spreading! Yay!

So we had two pans of spaghetti and one cake, one tray of cookies and one tray of cupcakes. Oh and we had 2 of those orange 5 gallon drink coolers (both were only filled a little over half way because usually that's all we need). Well once Solomon and I got to the park and saw how many people were there we immediately started praying for multiplication. We knew that unless God multiplied the food there was not going to be enough! And of course God was completely faithful! Not only did EVERYONE get a FULL plate of food (they do not skimp on the servings cause we KNEW God was going to provide) but lots of people even got seconds!! Hallelujah isn't that AWESOME? :D

I was the one cutting and passing out the cake and helping pass out the cookies and cupcakes, it was so awesome cause once the cake we had was gone I looked next to me where I had this big plastic tub that has all the extra plates and cups in it and on top of it there were two more little creme cakes. So I cut those up and they went really fast, well after that on top of that tub were a few bags of muffins and some sort of pastry that I didn't even know what it was lol. To make a long story short I kept passing out desserts like crazy and we never ran out, in fact we had so much left over we piled up plates and gave them to some people to take with them. WOW! God totally multiplied that food and BLESSED the whole night!

I had the chance to sit and talk with this sweet girl named Ronda and found out her 14 month old daughter is in the hospital needing surgery. I can't remember what her condition is called but it is something about her having a hard time eating and getting her formula and food down and keeping it down. No not the flu some sort esophagus problem. Anyways the doctors wanted to do surgery to open it up so she can get food down easier but she started showing signs of the swine flu (on top of the other problem she was getting the swine flu!) and the doctors said that until she gets over the flu she can't have surgery. Well this woman was of course beside herself with worry cause it is her little baby girl. So I talked with her for awhile and she asked me to pray for her daughter (Oh and her little girls name is Gracie... :D). So I prayed for healing, for peace and for comfort. She told me after we were done praying she had to leave but she said she felt so much more relaxed and at peace than before. Well that is just awesome by itself! But it gets better!

The next day Solomon came over to Mom and Dads to have Sabbath dinner with us. Jacqueline and Grandma and Grandpa all ending up having dinner with us as well. After dinner Solomon wanted to go back to the park to talk to some of the homeless people there to see if they wanted to go to church if the church provided a ride for them. Well I ran ran into Ronda while we were there. She was glowing with happiness and instantly started to tell me that she went to see Gracie that day and all signs of the swine flu were completely gone! AND she started sleeping better, eating and keeping her food down! Wow hallelujah! She said that Gracie will still be going in for the surgery (especially now that she is not sick with the flu and can have surgery) and I am just praying and would like all of you to come into agreement with me that either she gets completely healed so she wont need surgery or that when the doctors open her up that they see she is healed or gets healed right in front of their eyes! What a testimony that would be! :) So it was awesome to get a praise report on little Gracie so soon. I will be talking to Ronda this Thursday to get more updates on Gracie and I will make sure to keep you guys posted.

Wow talk about an awesome week! And can you believe this is only the beginning? This is barely a drop in the bucket to what God wants to do! Whoa! :D

And tonight I am going out to Tampa again so please please please keep praying for us, for the homeless and for the whole outreach! I appreciate you all so much and love you guys! Bless you!

A very blessed Thursday!

Had a great morning and afternoon today! My grandparents are in the process of moving into a new house so I am helping them out by getting it all scrubbed down and cleaned out.

Cleaning may not sound like much fun but I was able to chat with my grandma the whole time so it was fun for me. :) I am so blessed and happy that I am in Florida now and have been getting to know family I have been away from most of my life!

And tonight I am going out to Downtown Sarasota again to feed the hungry and homeless outreach. So excited! Can't wait to see what awesome things God is going to do tonight!

Please continue to pray for us and for the people on the streets. Pray for more breakthrough, hearts being healed, for provision and for Gods glory to rain down! :D

Thank you Lord for time with family and for the opportunities You have given me to share your love!

Wow last night in Tampa was AMAZING! God is moving and doing lots of amazing things!

Earlier in the day I was at the store with my dad and in the middle of the store God randomly gives me a word of healing for someone with shoulder pains. So of course I was super excited about that and looking forward to getting to Tampa and meeting the person God was guiding me to pray for.

Well later in the night Solomon was talking to a man and found out he had severe arthiritis and was having severe shoulder pains. He couldn't even lift his right arm up hardly at all (couldn't move his hand past his stomach...that was how much it hurt). So I KNEW that this was the man that God wanted to bless with healing! He is a believer and was very happy to have me pray for him. I said a pretty simple prayer for him and asked him how his shoulder was and he tried lifting his arm and could move it all the way up past his head! Something he hasn't been able to do for a long time! Haha God took the pain away and I believe is healing his arthiritis! He was a really sweet guy and very thankful for God healing him. He was so surprise and for awhile could hardly say anything cause he was so happy/shocked. :) I know that feeling lol!

Later in the night Solomon got a word of healing for someones ear and God healed their ear which was AWESOME! We had lots of opportunities to pray for many people last night. Gods love was all over the park where we were at and really is touching people in Tampa! :) I am so excited for tomorrow night, going back out to downtown Sarasota for temporary homeless outreach. Its going to be an awesome night. :)

I love Tuesdays!

Had an awesome morning talking to Steffy and Aunt Kellie on Skype today. We were learning about how awesome God is, how faithful He is and how powerful the Word of God really is! I love Tuesdays so much! I get to talk to my family in the morning and Tuesday nights I get to go to Tampa to serve people in need!

I am super excited for tonight. I can not wait to see what God is going to do! I have been praying for these people we are helping a lot and I have been feeling like God has been reassuring me and telling me that more breakthrough is happening. :)

Please pray for all of us who are serving these people and ministering to them and please be praying for the temporary homeless as well. Your prayers are very very appreciated and a huge support for us! Pray for more breakthrough and for us to move in the fullness of Gods love! Also please pray that we are moving in Gods wisdom and understanding instead of our own! Oh oh oh and also all your prayers for peace and for protection not just for us but also for those who are on the streets is a huge help as well!

I will make sure to post tomorrow about what happens tonight! Thank you and love you all! :)

I wanted to say how awesome it was that you guys were able to come out and visit us. I had so much fun being able to spend time with you two and with the kids! Too bad I couldn't make it to Disney but next time you guys come out and if you go I will make sure to not to miss out on going! :)

You two have been an amazing sister and brother to me, so patient with me and I appreciate you guys so much! Check out all the pictures I posted on Facebook from your guys visit! There are TONS! ^_^

Oh my goodness I am so sorry for not updated for so long! God has been laying it on my heart to update more consistently so I will work harder to keep the posts coming! Thank you for your patience everyone. :)

It has been a very wonderful couple of months. My relationship with the Lord has been growing more and more everyday and I have been learning so much! One of the interesting things I have learned is that I will always be learning more! God will always be teaching us new things, the learning process doesn't just end, we won't reach that stage where we know everything. For me that is relieving! Learning is fun for me so knowing everything wouldn't be very much fun. lol! Plus not knowing everything has created many opportunities for me and God to have some very interesting conversations. :)

I am still very much involved with the homeless ministries that I have mentioned in previous posts. I wanted to share with everyone more about what we do and how the ministry first started.

The ministry is led by my good friend Solomon. I met Solomon at The Front through my beautiful friend Elena. Elena and Solomon told me about the homeless ministry and I knew right away it was something I wanted to do and something God was leading me to do. So I started coming out to help right away and have loved doing it ever since!

The ministry was started about a year ago when God lead Solomon to go to McDonalds and buy a whole bunch of double cheeseburgers and share them with homeless people in downtown Sarasota. From that night on Solomon knew where God was leading him. He wanted the opportunity to provide food to people who were in need and share Gods love with them. A local church in Bradenton started assisting Solomon in this ministry by helping to provide the meals for these people. So he started going out with some fellow friends and volunteers to serve these wonderful people once a week on Thursday nights (downtown Sarasota at the park across from the Selby Public Library). Even though it is only one night a week it has become so much more to the people out there who are in need. Many strong friendships have been built, people are getting good home cooked (well more church cooked, but you get my meaning!) meals, receiving lots of prayer, coming to Jesus, getting healed and God has been providing jobs and homes!

The word has spread about Solomon coming out on Thursday nights with lots of yummy food and now usually more than 70+ people are coming out! We have started to hand out clothing, shoes and many other necessities as well. And about a month ago God put it on Solomons heart to start going to Tampa on Tuesday nights to help out people in need there. Solomon asked me if I wanted to be involved with Tampa as well and of course I was super excited to have that opportunity and have been helping out on Tuesday nights! Going to Tampa has been a huge blessing for us has been an exciting experience to watch God work in Tampa as well as Sarasota and to be meeting so many new people and developing relationships with them. We've only been going for a few weeks and have had the chance to meet and pray for one man in particular for God to provide work for him and already he got a contract job to help build the new Disney World theme park! He moved to Orlando this week to start working and is getting into a new home! Praise God! :D

So being a part of this ministry has not only helped the people on the streets and ministered to them but it has ministered to me as well! My relationship with my heavenly Daddy has grown crazy amounts as well as my faith! It has been a huge blessing to me and I am very thankful God led me to Florida and to these wonderful people.

I feel like this is also preparation for the time when God sends me out to other countries to share the beautiful love of Jesus. I just have to say how awesome the Kingdom of God is!! And how much fun it is! That common misconception that when you move into the Kingdom of God and start serving the Lord everything becomes tedious and boring is so frustrating because it is so not true! I have never been happier and never had so much fun! :D I am so thankful for that!

I also am very thankful for my family. :) The Millers, Herzogs, Ballingers, Carricks, Broadways and the Barrientez! It was so nice of God to give me the best family ever. :) And no that is not me being biased, that is a fact! I am also very blessed and thankful for the Trevinos (Elena and her family) and for Solomon. Jesus spoils me with the people he puts in my life. :)

And another friend of mine who I have met through this ministry, her name is Jill and she has been helping us serve the food and she has been preparing a lot of the food. She is an amazing cook and a such a sweetheart!

This is one of the guys God has been loving on who has been in some tough situations for awhile now, his name is Jose and we all are very blessed to know him. God has been working in his life and we are praying for more breakthrough! Jose has been very open to hearing about Jesus and has told us many times how thankful he is that all of us are coming out there and helping out. :)

The guy on the left is Jeremy and he has been coming out for the past few weeks from a local Tampa church to help serve, pray with people and just love on them. He usually brings his guitar and will play some worship music which is so nice to have while we are out there!

Miracles, Signs and Wonders!

Ok I have to start out by saying how amazing God is! The past month has really been something else for me. My relationship with the Lord has really been developing and I have been blessed enough to get more involved with my churches (yes I am currently attending 3 churches...one Saturday night, one Sunday morning and then another Sunday afternoon...lol). Also getting involved with the different homeless ministries which has been incredible! Every week we are seeing people get healed from physical problems and being freed from emotional and spiritual stuff.

I have got some crazy awesome healing stories I want to share. First there is this man named Dennis who is one of the people we have been ministering to on Friday nights. Since birth he has been 90% deaf because of a disease his mother contracted while she was pregnant with him, it left him with slight brain damage and eye problems as well. Anyways I have only met this guy a few weeks ago when I started the temporary homeless ministry but some of the other people involved with it have known him for almost a year now. He has had a rough time hearing the whole time we all have known him. He has 1 hearing aid and it helps but still isn't 100% (he doesn't have a second because they are like $3500 hearing aids or something and can't afford it). Well anyways the Friday before last Friday...the 24th I think...a bunch of us ended up praying for his ears. After we had prayed for a bit we asked him to take out his hearing aid and started testing it out to see if he could hear us. He said no it was the same so we all just said we weren't done praying in that case! We started praying again and then tested out his hearing again. with his hearing aid out we had someone stand to his side, while he looked straight ahead with eyes close and started snapping their fingers while they walked away. We told him every time they snapped that he should say something if he heard it...Well sure enough they got about 15+ feet away and snapped and he was still able to hear it! Before we prayed without his hearing aid he wouldn't be able to hear that at all! He said his hearing was only restored about 60%+ but that is an incredible difference! We told him to keep praying and holding onto his healing and that God isn't a halfway God, He will complete what he started. :) The last time I checked his hearing is only getting better. Praise God! This guy was floored and hardly knew what to say or do because he was so happy. We got his testimony on video and I'm trying to get a copy of that so I can post it.

Last Thursday there was a young man who had a really bad gash on the top of his head. He said the pain was unlike anything he felt before and didn't have the money to go to the hospital to get it taken care of (he was homeless as well). Well my friends Elena and Solomon ended up praying for this guy and he said the pain had gone away but that was pretty much it. Well we all were going to keep praying and believing that God was going to heal it for him. So the next day Elena and me were in the downtown area trying to meet up with a young homeless girl who desperately needed clothes. She never showed up to meet us like planned but Elena and me ended up running into the young man with the head wound. He was all smiles and with his friend and told us that they have been telling everyone they saw that God healed him! He showed us where the gash was and there was hardly a cut there. It was about the size of a paper cut. Head wounds don't heal overnight like that normally! God is so amazing! :)

And would you believe it if I said there was more...?!? Another man (I was not there for this one but it was Elena and Solomon who were there) was almost completely healed from throat and mouth cancer. This guy had actual tumors in his mouth that you could see and after they had prayed for him they were visibly shrinking and he said all the pain (which was really bad from what he had said) was gone.

That isn't the end of the healings but I have more exciting news! God provided me with a car the other day! My Aunt Anne just randomly tells me, "Oh by the way, I'm giving you my Saturn." I couldn't believe it! Not only that but He somehow keeps providing me with things to sell on eBay so I have just been working on that for my income lately. But He has been providing enough so that I am making enough and staying busy like a full time job. And I haven't had to worry about getting time off for my Jesus Adventures (that is what Elena and me have officially decided to call it lol). It is just so amazing because once God encounters you...nothing is the same afterwards.

Oh and I got prophesied over by 2 different people who I had a "chance" encounter with...well for God there is no luck and chance... :) But the prophecy was essentially about how I am destined for missions. Which I already pretty much knew and have had other people speak that over me. It was just more confirmation and encouragement for me. :)

Aaaand last Friday night I joined Elena and a group of other people in something called a Treasure Hunt. Well it's not the normal kind of treasure hunt. We all get together for prayer and time to soak in the Lords presence and worship Him. And He will gives us "clues" that we all write down. So we'll compare notes and build these "treasure maps" that eventually lead us to people who are the treasure. :) The clues people get can be very vague or some of them are really specific and vivid. So this is my first time doing anything like this, and I am still learning how to hear from the Lord. So I was a little nervous/worried that I wasn't going to get anything. Well I was wrong lol. The word fish kept coming into my head really loud and strong. I was like oh come on Jesus I want something cooler than fish! Lol! But He did not let it go....So I was trying to make sure it was God and not me...well He made sure it was Him. :) Anyways I started to write down fish in my book and then for some reason it hit me that it might something like a fish market. Then I kept seeing a really kinda hazy picture of a big blue Marlin fish (they have a long nose sorta like a swordfish if you don't know what it is...) I thought that was weird but didn't think much of it. Anyways it turns out I wasn't the only one getting fish market so when we finally head out it was decided we would try this place called Walt's Fish Market. Elena had known the owners son or something so we decided it would be worth a try to start there. Oh and some of the other things people got was the color green, rain clouds with a little rain and the color blue. Really broad clues lol.

Anyways we get to this fish market and as we get out of the car and are trying to figure out what to do now I feel a few drops of water on my back and look up and theres a rain cloud right over us, it sprinkled for a whole minute then went away. So I looked up at the sky saw the cloud then looked at the fish market and there was this lady walking into the building wearing a green shirt, green shorts and green socks...seriously who wears green socks? Lol! Anyways me and Elena knew we were supposed to talk to that woman. We go inside the store to introduce ourselves and I look up on the wall and see pretty much the only decoration on it is this huge fake marlin...whoa...I think God was trying to reassure us that we were in the right place...lol. So to make a long story short we ended up praying with that lady and ministering to her and to half the employees at the fish market lol.

Yes so that treasure hunt was unlike anything I've ever done before! I had no idea people did stuff like that until just recently. :)

Oooo and I have just noticed how long this post has gotten...well I gotta end it here but I will try to continue to post more. Just had to share with everyone what God has been doing! He really is moving right and not just here in Sarasota...He is hitting the land everywhere! There are revivals going on all over the US and different countries. People are starting to walk in the calling Jesus has put on us, we are out there seeing signs miracles and wonders for His glory and in His name! If anyone is interested and wants to see some really crazy stuff God is doing and really get hit by God looked up this film called "The Finger of God" It will leave you quite literally breathless. :)

A little helping hand...

Yay I am posting a little more consistently! Lol... :)

So I was able to go help out with the homeless ministries on Thursday and Friday. On Thursday we went down to downtown Sarasota and served food and drinks to the people that were there. I was able to meet a lot of people that are involved with this ministry (some go to The Front, Victory and other random churches) and I was able to meet a lot of the temporary homeless people. We just play games like kickball, witness, pray and just generally talk to these people. It was exciting because I was able to be apart of some powerful prayer that night! Anyways after we were done I stayed with Elena and Solomon for another hour or so just talking about God and sharing some of our crazy Jesus stories. :)

And then on Friday we meet up at a church in Bradenton (this is a different homeless ministry but Elena and Solomon are involved with it as well) to prepare the food, worship God and pray before we head out. We start out at this old abandoned gas station and just do the same things we do on Thursday. Serve people, pray with them and minister to them. Then we head to downtown Bradenton and do all that all over again with another group of homeless people. It was there that we saw more of God's amazing miracles! One man who was mostly deaf in one ear, had lots of knee and back pain got healed of the pain and got his hearing restored! He was ecstatic! He just started praising the Lord right there and prayed blessings over us for praying for him. :) God is so awesome!

So after that we headed out yet again and went down to 14th Street in Bradenton. Now this place is a lot darker and has a lot more people with drug and alcohol addictions and there are these poor girls who are there prostituting themselves. We were able to really witness to people and there was lots of really powerful prayer going on. It was incredible, there was so much joy and laughter there. God really showed up and ministered to a lot of people (not just the addicts and homeless people but to all of us who were there witnessing to people!).

Then after we were done we headed back to the church (its like past midnight by now... lol...) to spend more time worshiping God, praying and thanking Him for all that He did that night. Eventually we were just hanging out in the kitchen eating watermelon and talking and I had mentioned something about how I haven't gotten my prayer language yet but I am super excited for when I do...So one of the girls, Leslie, jumped up and got all excited and asked if they could pray for me to receive it. I of course wasn't going to turn prayer down lol. So everyone started prayer for me and while they were praying I just started praising God and thanking Him for everything and just kept praising Him over and over. Eventually I realized I wasn't speaking English anymore! I was actually speaking in tongues for the first time in my life! OMGosh I was excited and all the people who were praying for me were cheering and thanking the Lord with me. It was amazing. :) So I have officially gotten my prayer language now! Praise God! Last week was an incredible week with a lot of new things for me.

And last night I went to The Front of course and during worship near the end of the night, while I was worshiping I started speaking in tongues again. Without even trying or thinking about it. It just started flowing while I was worshiping. Ya it was fun. ^_^

Yup and I went to church with Dad on Saturday (Mom had to stay home cause her leg was hurting :( but me and Elena are not gonna stop praying and believing God is gonna heal it until it happens!). The message Pastor Brian preached was really good and the worship was awesome! Worship is my favorite by the way...I could spend all day worshiping God and never get bored! :)

After church I left with Elena, stayed the night with her so we could get up early and go to another church service at a place called Restoration Fellowship. That was another great message that I really needed to hear and it hit home pretty hard. :) Then after that church service me and Elena went to Carrabba's for a fund raising lunch. The Pastor from Victory and his family were there and a bunch of other people from Victory and The Front. More good times. :) Pastor Brian has a adorable (and super sweet!) son and daughter that are like 7 and 9 or something like that. Anyways I had my camera with me and I ended up giving them the camera and told them to run around and take pictures of whatever they wanted. They had so much fun and ran around like bandits and took TONS of pictures. Lol! It was pretty cute. I still need to post them on my Facebook, I'll do that soon. :)

I also was able to get some information on a christian photography course that I am considering taking sometime. Its a week long intensive course that I can take in Colorado....So if I am able to do it I will be able to come out and visit everyone either before or after the course! We'll see how that pans out. I gotta get a good camera first and am pretty far off from being able to afford that but I am asking the Lord for a good camera and I really believe He wants to help me get one. :)

Anyways me and mom are about to take off to go do our Bible study so I will post again when I have more to post about.

Yay I am finally posting again! I know I am horrible with blogging. Not nearly as consistent as my momma or Rachel. :)

Ok so I wanted to share my experience on Monday night. I was originally planning on going to The Front like normal, but I talked to my good friend Elena on the phone before I left and she told me about this conference that was going on this week called YEX (Youth Explosion). Well on Monday night they had a 'open to the public' night and all of the Fronts leaders and most of the people who go to The Front were going to this thing instead. So I tagged along with Elena and her friend Solomon to this conference. It was amazing! Worship was incredible and lasted for hours (just how I like it!). They also had a guest speaker that night, someone I haven't heard of but apparently he is somewhat famous. His name was Eddie James and his message was about going all out for the Lord. He explained about how people these days go all out with their hobbies, sports, art, drugs or whatever that person may be into, but don't tend to use that same enthusiasm and passion when it comes to Jesus. Anyways sometime during worship on Monday I had my first Word from the Lord! It was a word of encouragement for someone I have met at The Front. It was funny though because I am still learning to hear from the Lord and argued with God for like 10 minutes to make sure it was from him and not my over active imagination. I also was slightly embarrassed and what not because I had to go up to this person who I barely know to tell them something that the Lord wanted them to hear. Lol by the time I finally got to this person my hands were shaking and all sweaty...I felt so silly cause I wasn't sure how they would react to this as well. Anyways I was very excited about that even though it was a slightly awkward situation. :)

And that was only about half way through the night when that happened. Worship continued after Eddie James preached and then the healing started! So many people were getting healed from emotional, spiritual and physical problems (such as infirmities, addictions, depression and suicidal thoughts/tendencies and etc...). It was incredible! I love being apart of God's miracles and being able to witness them first hand. It really is something to be able to experience God like this and realize that miracles and healings didn't end with Jesus and the Apostles deaths.

Anyways I have decided it is my turn now to go ALL OUT for the Lord! On Thursday I will be getting involved with ministry for my first time! My friend Elena and her good friend Solomon are working with this ministry that is feeding the homeless (ahem correction, temporary homeless as they put it! :P), witnessing to them and just loving on them. And I'll be starting that this Thursday and be joining Elena for it on Thursdays and Fridays. I am very excited! Please pray for me that I will have wisdom and courage! :)

So that's the rundown of my Monday night lol.

Also last Saturday I had the opportunity to go to this beautiful state park about an hours drive from Sarasota called Hillsborough River State Park. It was gorgeous! The mosquitoes were a force to reckon with though...and of course I forgot to bring bug spray which turned out to be a big mistake lol. Next time I go I will buy a can and drench myself in it head to toe! I of course took tons and tons of pictures and am working on uploading them onto Facebook since my online Photo Album is still inactive. And on Sunday me and mom and dad were supposed to get up super early to go to some super fantastic shelling beach in Fort Meyers. Well I was up at the time agreed on (got up at 4:30am to be ready by 5am lol) but momma found out that there is a special ferry that you have to take to get to the beach and you need reservations as well. So we decided to go to Coquina Beach instead. Which was fine for me because Anna Maria island is my favorite place in Florida so far. :) We didn't really find anything that great. Just the wrong time of the day I think. But it was still nice to see the ocean and go eat brunch with my folks.

Well this post has been longer than I anticipated so I'm going to get off and take a break from staring at a computer lol. I'll try to post again soon...I know I keep saying that but at least I am trying! :P

Updates...part 2!

Yes yes I know I need to update more lol. I will definitely try to more often now. :)

So I wanted to start out by telling how much fun I had with Rachel and Jacob this week! Thank you so much for taking the trip out here and spending time with me and my family. We all had so much fun and are very blessed to have you as a new addition to our family! :)

On Friday (the 12th) Pastor Diane, from our church Resurrection Fellowship, met up with us for breakfast at IHOP. Pastor Diane is such a sweetheart and a huge encouragement! She was with me through most of my pregnancy, counseling me and praying for me through the adoption. My whole family and me just love her to pieces. :)
After breakfast was over we said goodbye (more like see you later in the week lol!) to Rachel and Jacob. Hope your drive home was ok! :)

And today I went shopping with Aunt Kellie and Uncle Kerwyn for lil Jacob. Oh oh oh Rachel and Marand, I can not wait for you guys to see what we got for the lil monkey! :D

So my Colorado vacation has been better than I could have imagined! I am having so much fun seeing all my wonderful family and playing with the kiddos. I have missed my Colorado family so much!

I also had the chance to see my good friend Breanna who has very recently gave her life to the Lord! Yay praise God! :) She has been a friend of mine for about 3 years now and has come from a dark past, similar to the past I have overcome :). I am very happy to see her working on changing her life for the better and I am doing as much as I can to help her through the transition (its not easy!).

I have many many photos to post on my photo album but I need to buy a membership to the site before I can update the album. So as soon as I get back to Florida I will get a membership and update pictures so everyone can see all the good times we are having! :)

OMGosh it's been awhile since I've posted! I've been pretty busy working (yay thank you Lord!). :)

So my job is going better than I could have hoped for! Basically I'm working for some friends of mine who sell mostly beauty and home products in malls and what not. What I am doing for them although is working on the computer. I first had to create a set of spreadsheets, to keep record of customers, income/expenses and ect. Now I am working on getting the business set up online and start selling through a website and eBay. So I'll be mostly working online, doing data entry, shipping, filing, stuff like that and every now and then I'll work in the store at the mall. It's a lot of fun! And I am super excited because now I will be able to come out to Colorado for sure to see everyone in June! Yay! :)

I miss everyone tons and tons and can't wait until June!

I have to run but I will post again soon, I have so much more to post about! ^_^

Good news!

Guess what! As of this morning I have a new job! Yay hurray for the Lord and being just so awesome! :) So a little over a month ago I met some of my neighbors, these really nice guys that recently moved here from Israel. Anyways one of them called me last night and told me he wanted to hire me to help him run his store in one of the malls that is right next to my apartment (they are business men lol). Anyways I started this morning and am super excited. It's also nice getting to know these guys because they have been teaching me a little bit of Hebrew. So I'll have to show off what I have learned when I see everyone again lol.

Its funny the way the Lord works things though. For a few weeks I have been desperately looking for a job. Applying everywhere I can. Then my neighbor randomly calls me and asks me to work for him. Its just funny the way the Lord works. :) Well I have to get going but I just wanted to quickly tell everyone the good news! Thank you for the prayers! Love you all!

Well work at the restaurant I am hostessing at is starting to really slow down. The tourist season is ending so we haven't been as busy. I am currently looking for a second job! It’s a little tough at this time but I am trusting in the Lord that He has a super good job waiting for me. :) I had a few interviews but nothing too promising came from those yet. So I am just applying everywhere I can and sending in my resume to anything I can find lol. So pray that I find the job the Lord has for me soon! :)

Oh oh oh and I finally have pictures uploaded onto my very own online photo album! Its not completely done yet (I am still adding captions, more pics and what not) but now at least everyone can see a little of what I've been up to and the gorgeous scenery around us. :) Oh and Aunt Kellie, go to the Lost in Myakka album to show Katie the armadillo pics!
